Golfers Return Three Letter Winners

The AG boys golf team began practice March 2nd with fourteen boys going out for the team. 2 seniors, 4 Juniors, 5 Sophomores and 3 Freshmen make up this year’s squad. Returning letter winners are Jrs. Josh Hohensee and Eric Treadway and Freshman Alex Swenson. This year’s team will look to these three for leadership on the course.
The season will be competitive for the young, inexperienced Bluejay squad as they appear in 5 Invitational meets along with several triangulars and duels. The highlight of the home meets will be the 5th annual Bob Simpson Classic, April 13th at the Ashland Country Club beginning at 9:00am.
The Conference meet will be at The Pines, hosted by DC West, on May 8th and Districts will be May 18 on the Table Creek golf course in Nebraska City.
