AG Staff Take Doane Technology Class

Summer may be here for students, but teachers are still busy at school working to prepare for the one-to-one initiative implementation in August. During the first two weeks of June nine teachers participated in a class through Doane College on integrating technology into the curriculum. Teachers taking the class ranged from kindergarten through twelfth grade, and included a wide variety of subject areas including Language Arts, Science and Math.
During the course the teachers completed many activities which will
be useful in their classrooms next fall. Activities included
creating digital posters, webquests, virtual field trips,
interactive books, educational movies, and more. In addition the
teachers spent time working with blogs, wikis, and discussion
forums. All of these activities led to busy days in class, but
opened many new doors for the teachers and students of AGPS!
