6th Graders Participate in Science Fair
Fifteen Projects Move on to Regional Competition
February 25, 2010
Sixth grade students have been working on applying the scientific method to their Science Fair projects over the past several months. Students use the scientific method to study a question of their choice. They complete research to help formulate a hypothesis for their question, test their hypothesis and then formulate conclusions. On Monday, February 22, the sixth graders participated in our local Science Fair where their projects were judged by members of the community and high school students. Fifteen projects were selected to compete at the regional Science Fair held at Strategic Air and Space Museum on March 25th.
