School Calendar Revisions Made

The Board of Education approved revisions in the 2009-10 school day calendar at their meeting in February. The primary change was to make May 21 a student school day. Previously it had been scheduled as a school vacation day for the state track meet. School is now set to be dismissed on Wednesday, May 26. If weather forces the cancellation of any further school, May 27 and May 28 will be used as make up days.
All other scheduled student breaks remained as previously planned. This includes having no school on March 5 and 12 and an early dismissal on March 10. The school will be on break as well on the Friday before and the Monday after Easter, April 2nd and 5th.
