The Bluejay wrestling team traveled to Arlington on Saturday, January 21 for the Capitol Conference Wrestling Tournament. With only nine varsity wrestlers competing, the Bluejays left with five medals and a 5th place team finish. Leading the way for the Bluejays was Dennis S. who continued his reign in the 195 pound weight division with another first place finish. He defeated fifth ranked Bryce R. of Syracuse with a pin in 1:30. Layne L. finished in second place of the 285 pound weight class, after an 8-4 loss in the finals to sixth ranked Matt C. of Syracuse. Wyatt B., Walker F., and Dillon C. all finished in 4th place in the 113, 132, and 152 pound weight classes, respectively. Dalton S. (106), Cory W. (126), Zane B. (145), and Cash C. (160) also competed for the Bluejays.
