Ashland-Greenwood Cross Country Team

The Ashland-Greenwood Cross Country team had their home meet on Monday, September 19th at a new venue, Camp Carol Joy Holling in Ashland, Nebraska. The camp generously opened their location to the AG team and six other teams that attended the meet. MIDDLE SCHOOL LEADERSHIP STUDENTS MEET MK MUELLER

SOFTBALL TEAM CELEBRATES SENIOR NIGHT WITH WIN

Mastering Metrics

Last week, students in Mrs. Pinkall's 8th grade science demonstrated their metric measurement skills by participating in the Mini Metric Olympics. The Cotton Ball Shot Put, Left-Handed Sponge Squeeze, and Paper Plate Discus were just a few of the events. Students were not competing for the greatest distance, volume, or mass but getting their measurement estimate as close as possible to their actual measurement. The competition . . .

KEYBOARDING TOURNAMENT IS THE KEYS TO SUCCESS

    To start the year in Mrs. Dutcher's Middle School Keyboarding/Computer Applications class students competed in a double elimination typing tournament.  It was a competitive, yet fun and friendly way for Mrs. Dutcher to observe their typing techniques and record their initial WPM (words per minute).  The WPM will be used as a baseline as students set goals to progress throughout the semester. . . .
