COVID-19 Update - March 10th, 2021
This notification has been designed to keep family and community members aware of the latest information regarding our response to Covid-19 within the school system. It shows the current number of active cases and quarantines for students and staff. Ashland-Greenwood Public Schools serves 1045 students and employs 131 staff (staff include certified staff such as administrators and teachers as well as non-certified staff such as para-professionals, bus drivers, food services, maintenance and custodial).
We are happy to report that there is absolutely nothing to report for today! Continued thanks to our staff, students, parents, and community members for adhering to safety guidance and recommendations so that we can continue to have the majority of our staff and students in school!
Each time we are notified of a positive case, the building principal and the school nurse with guidance from Three Rivers Public Health will contact trace that case. If it is determined your child has been in close contact with a positive case, you will be personally notified. Close contact is defined by the health department as being within 6 feet or less of a person for more than 15 minutes or more within a 24 hour time period. The level of mask wearing by positive cases as well as those potentially exposed is also a critical factor.
IMPORTANT: Please keep your student home if they are experiencing any symptoms or if they are awaiting test results.
(The District will not release information by school or grade within these updates in an effort not to share information that may be personally identifiable.)
