Seeking Public Feedback - Use of American Rescue Plan Funds
Dear Bluejay Family,
I’m inviting you to fill out a survey that will help us identify priorities for how to use federal funds as a result of the American Rescue Plan.
Under the American Rescue Plan (ARP), the school district can apply to receive federal funds to help address the impact of COVID-19. The United States Department of Education has awarded considerable funds to state education agencies to help schools sustain healthy operations and address significant academic, social, and emotional needs of their students as the country continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The application process for these funds requires that school districts seek input from stakeholders. The survey linked below first includes a list of allowable expenditures from the federal level. The next list you will see within the survey is that generated by AGPS administrators and staff regarding possible uses for these funds. The survey asks that you review the possible uses of funds and check those that you feel are important.
The survey also allows you an opportunity to share other ideas that may not be represented in the provided lists.
The survey includes just 5 questions; it should take just a few minutes to complete. Feedback provided within this survey will be used to inform our application for these funds.
The survey is linked HERE: AGPS - Use of American Rescue Plan Funds - Stakeholder Feedback
Thank you for taking the time to help us identify priorities for how to use the ARP funding.
Sincerely,
Jason Libal
