I have been with the Ashland/Greenwood Public School system since 1999 teaching 5th and 1st grade. Strongly believing in early literacy support and intervention, Ashland/Greenwood Schools implemented a Kindergarten Title 1 Reading program in 2009. Currently, my job is to collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and enhance the literacy skills of our emergent readers.

         After graduating from Bennington High School, I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a dual major in Elementary Education and Human Development and the Family. I live in rural Greenwood with my husband, George, and have 3 children (Ryan, Andy and Mackenzi).
