TeamMates Pair Donates Dog Toys

One pair of Ashland-Greenwood’s TeamMates have been working hard this fall semester to create dog toys for displaced dogs affected by hurricanes in Texas and Florida.  The two are also making enough dog toys to donate to two local shelters here in Nebraska.  Mentor, Julie Miller and her mentee, Mikayla, have plans to include TeamMates brochures and personalized notes that talk about the positive impact of mentoring.

The dog toys are made from recycled shirts that were donated by multiple sources.  In total, the pair plan to complete about 30 dog toys for each site, making a total of 120 dog toys.

This is just one great example of the impact that mentoring is having both locally and abroad.
