Champion Chapter
This year, Champion Chapter is being led and completed by Gabby Scribner, Adelyn Harms, and Natalie West. Ashland-Greenwood’s participation in the Champion Chapter Program in FBLA focuses on member recruitment, retention, and active engagement within chapters.
To earn The Champion Chapter Award, the Ashland-Greenwood FBLA Chapter participates in various activities to accumulate points during the year. This award is divided into several phases throughout the year, each designed to strengthen chapter development. These phases include:
Summer Starter - focuses on setting up the foundation of the chapter for the year,
Shaping Success - aims to promote membership benefits and engagement,
Service season - encourages community service and connection with local businesses, and
CTE Celebration - highlights achievements and promotes career and Technical Education Awareness.
Ashland - Greenwood FBLA started participating in this event in 2023. Since then the chapter has received Silver once and Gold twice. Ashland - Greenwood FBLA looks forward to continuing this tradition and can’t wait to see what these members can accomplish!

Community Service
In October, members of Ashland - Greenwood FBLA engaged in community service by participating in two impactful events. Members took part in an annual highway cleanup on October 18th, helping keep highway 6 clean and welcoming for residents and tourists. In addition to this, on October 25, the chapter hosted a hayrack ride where members collected nonperishable items for the local food bank. These activities not only help support those in need but allow the members to become community-minded business leaders.

Tourism Bureau
The Ashland - Greenwood FBLA officer team has collaborated with the Ashland Community Development Corporation to lead and establish the Ashland Tourism Bureau. Officers have had several strategic planning meetings where they developed a mission, vision, and strategy for Ashland Tourism. Ashland - Greenwood FBLA members are going to be volunteering to work Tourism Bureau Office Hours on Thursdays through Sundays of every week. Members are also attending monthly chamber and ACDC meetings, and presenting the community and its businesses to students at Camp Ashland.
