Hello Ashland-Greenwood Families-
Principal's Message - Video Link
As we continue to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and make plans for the days ahead, we want to share our gratitude for your patience and understanding in this unprecedented time. Mr. Jacobsen and I want to share some reminders and updates related to school matters and your child’s education.
Food program reminder/update: Yesterday, you received an email about food service providing a sack lunch Monday-Friday. If you have not responded to that survey, please do, or, if you want your school-aged students to have access to this option, please call Karee Nielsen at the high school.
We want to provide an important reminder to encourage and practice social distancing. This is critical to reducing the spread of COVID-19. Play-dates for young children and social activities for youth should be avoided.
Later this week, your child’s teachers will be contacting families via email to begin sharing learning enrichment ideas. Elementary contact will be sent to parents. At the middle school, classroom teachers will reach out to parent emails and student emails. At the high school, those messages will go out to students only.
You will be receiving a survey from Matt Flynn to help determine who needs technology assistance. If you do not have an email address, please call your child’s school office and let them know what you need for technology access.
We miss you Bluejays! We have been focusing on WHAT’S IMPORTANT NOW in our work the past several days. What’s important now is to chart a course in some unknown waters.
We acknowledge that we do not know all the answers and questions clearly out-weigh the solutions at this time. We will continue to work with you to create the best enrichment opportunities for our students moving forward. Again, we miss you Bluejays!
