Students Earn Honors at Scholastic State Art Competition

Ashland-Greenwood Art students did well this year at the Scholastic State Art Competitions this year. Every year, Mrs. Lade-Wills sends in art work in many different mediums such as ceramics, sculpture, painting and drawing, as well as mixed media. This year 14 students earned honors.  

Earning a Gold Key Award was Jenna Mills for her Mixed Media piece titled Intentional Serendipity.

Earning Silver Key Awards were Tytan Fronterhouse, Ana Isom, Lily Kinnersley, Riley Lichtas and Breleigh Mech.

Earning Honorable Mentions were Daisee Boot, Fiona Bowdino, Alexa Evans, Kassidy Gard, Megan Gerdes, Avery Grauerholz, Vanity Laughlin, Riley Lichtas and Audrey Whitehead.

The regional ceremony where they will be receiving their awards is tentatively scheduled for March 9th in Omaha. Congratulations to all our talented students.
