I grew up in Red Oak, Iowa where I graduated in 1990. I have been a classroom teacher since 1998. I taught third and fourth grade for two years in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Then I moved to the Chicago area where I was a third grade teacher for two years. After moving back to Iowa, I taught second and third grade for seven years in my hometown of Red Oak. In 2010, I married my husband Ryan and moved to Nebraska . We welcomed our daughter Katie to the world in July of 2011.  I am excited to now be teaching at Ashland-Greenwood Elementary School!
