AGES Loses Student on October 17th, 2020

The Ashland-Greenwood community is deeply saddened by the loss of a current kindergarten student, Chloe Riecken.  Chloe had recently been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive type of cancer called EMTR which took her suddenly.

Chloe is the daughter of Josh and Julia Riecken of Wann.  Chloe’s siblings include Sierra, Serenity and Wyatt.

Chloe was known for her sweet smile, hugs and care for her teddy bear, Mr. Bear.

The AGPS crisis team is available to students and staff during the day on Monday, October 19th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m..  Mrs. Brady, Ms. Collins and Duane Hagedorn, as well as other members of the crisis team, will continue to be available in the coming weeks for all students and staff during this difficult time at the elementary school.  

Visitation: Thursday, October 22 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Riverview Community Church in Ashland, NE
