AG Speech Team Brings Home Hardware From Conference Meet

 

The Ashland-Greenwood Speech team competed in our first Trailblazer Conference Speech meet on Monday, February 12th in Nebraska City and ended the day with a 3rd place finish.

Paige Williams and Megan both earned spots in the finals for Serious Prose at the Conference Tournament.  Paige Williams received 1st place and Megan came home with 5th place.

Ana Isom broke to finals in both Persuasive Speaking and Humorous Prose at the Conference Speech Meet! She received 3rd in Persuasive and 6th in Humorous.

Houston Fleck secured his spot in the final round of Entertainment Speaking at the Conference Speech Meet and received 6th place.

Jaxon Powell broke into both the Extemporaneous Speaking and Entertainment Speaking final round at the Conference Speech Tournament, bringing home 5th in Entertainment and a 4th place finish in Extemporaneous.

Breleigh Mech earned a spot in the final round of Poetry at the Conference Speech Meet and received 6th place.

Megan Gerdes, Breleigh Mech, Elsie Johnson, and Avery Graugherholz broke into the final round of OID and received 6th place.

Kaylee Wisely secured a spot in the final round of Persuasive Speaking at the Conference Tournament and earned herself a 5th place medal.

Houston Fleck and Jenna Mills broke into the final round of Duet Acting and brought home 4th place.
