Welding Teams Bring Home Hardware
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOver the weekend 8 students traveled to Lexington to compete in one of the more difficult welding competitions the state has to offer. For many of them it was their first time competing in a welding competition, but that didn't stop them from leaving their mark.
AG Team 1 took home 1st place overall, while the AG Team 2 snagged the 5th place position.
Individual Process:
O/A: Cordell Kelley - 1st Place, Peyton Groteluschen - 7th Place
Stick/SMAW: Matthew Fourtney - 5th place, Archer Ferguson - 12th Place
MIG/GMAW: Atley Robinson - 1st Place, Layton Brauckmuller 14th Place
TIG/GTAW: Kade Brauckmuller - 6th Place, Justin Mills - 7th Place
These kids should be proud of their accomplishments and if you see them today give them some praise.
