Special Election Passes
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Special Election requesting approval for the board to exceed its' property tax authority for the 2026.2027 school year has passed. Statute for this election issue requires a 60% approval rate. Though the election results still need to be certified, the Saunders County Election Clerk has confirmed that 62% of the votes received were in favor.
Many of you as parents and community members expressed your positive support and/or invested time in advocating in support of the special election request; thank-you for doing so.
