AG Students Excel at Nebraska State Track Meet

Athletes competed last week on Wednesday and Thursday at Burke Stadium in Omaha, setting records and coming home with the highest State Meet Team finish in AG history. If you see the following students, please congratulate them on their State Medal finishes:
Grayson Nolan - 4th Place - 100M, 6th Place - 4x100M Relay
Liam Jensen - 1st Place - 200M, 6th Place - 4x100M Relay
Landon Mohs - 6th Place - 4x100M Relay
Nate Wible - 6th Place - 4x100M Relay
Jade Sargent - 7th Place - 100 M, 8th Place - 200 M, 5th Place - 4x100M Relay
Averi Bridges - 6th Place - 400M, 5th Place - 4x100M Relay
Jaycee Downing - 5th Place - 4x100M Relay
Ady Harms - 5th Place - 4x100M Relay
Zander Grief - 8th Place - Unified 100M
Rogan Cervany - - 8th Place - Unified 100M
Barrett Kitrell - 4th Place - Discus
Logan Fangmeyer - 8th Place - Triple Jump
The boys team finished 10th - the highest finish in AG Track and Field Program History. The team also had back-to-back years with 15+ State Track Qualifiers. Several School Records were broken at the meet this year - Liam Jensen (200M), Zoey Smith (3200M), Averi Bridges (400M) and the girls AND boys 4x100 Relays. Congratulations to ALL the athletes and coaches on a fantastic year!
ALSO congratulations to the following AG Choir students that sang the National Anthem for the State Track Meet, Wednesday, May 20th: Adeline McVay, Isabella Greenwade, Elise Johnson, Hazel Capp, Elizabeth Bivens, Kennedy Flahive, Preston Clark and Houston Fleck, under the direction of Vocal Music Directory Lauren Byers.
